Spin3 A Mile Hi Futurity
Presented by Rockin' L7 Bucking Bulls and Hadley Cattle Company Bucking Bull Genetics

ARVADA, Colo. (Feb. 27, 2008) - Mile Hi Barrel Horse Association and Spin3 Productions, both established Colorado-based barrel racing producers, have joined forces to produce the inaugural Spin3 A Mile Hi Futurity presented by Rockin' L7 Bucking Bulls and Hadley Cattle Company Bucking Bull Genetics. The event will rock the Rockies October 10-12 when The Ranch/Larimer County Fairgrounds in Loveland, Colo., welcomes Futurity and Derby contenders. Mile Hi Barrel Horse Association (MHBHA) and Spin3 Productions are both in the business of producing first class races with the goal of serving the barrel racing industry in the best way possible; their Futurity and Derby undertaking is an extension of that objective. Aiming to make Colorado the ultimate barrel racing destination, these events are fairly and professionally run, lucrative and fun for the entire family and all skill levels.

The Futurity event will offer $5,000 in added money paid out over two go rounds and an average and is open to horses 5 years old and under (foals of 2003 or later). Horses must not reach the age of 6 during 2008 in order to participate and must not have competed in a barrel race prior to December 1, 2007 in order to be Futurity eligible. The Futurity entry fee is $350 and payments begin on July 1, 2008. The $1,000-added Derby is designed for horses 6 and under (foals of 2001 or later), the entry fee is $200 and nominations begin July 1. Two go rounds and an average will be paid in the Derby as well.

Festivities get underway at The Ranch on Friday, October 10 at 9 a.m. with open riding followed by 20 minute barrel work sessions for Futurity and Derby horses only at 1 p.m. Traditional exhibition runs are slated for 2 to 5 p.m. with check in taking place from 1 to 4 p.m. The first go round of Futurity and Derby action begins at 7 p.m. Futurity and Derby entries will make their second round run on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. with an awards ceremony immediately following the excitement.

Additionally, the event will offer a complete line up of MHBHA approved barrel races on Saturday and Sunday, October 11-12. On Saturday, Futurity and Derby entries may roll their times back to any of these ancillary classes. Enter MHBHA classes on-site and indicate roll backs at time of entry. This option is available on Saturday only.

With state-of-the-art, accommodating facilities, dedicated management and fantastic awards and cash on the line, the Spin3 A Mile Hi Futurity presented by Rockin' L7 Bucking Bulls and Hadley Cattle Company Bucking Bull Genetics promises to heat up the Rocky Mountain region this fall.
